What is the reason for a min. of 5 to have a division?

That was a mis-type. Should have said 3, but actually I didn't need that line anyway, as I'm sure I'll get plenty of entries in those divisions (I typed that in originally because I was considering more divisions). Thanks for the heads-up.

Sounds Great Greggie !!

I don't know if I'll be throwing by that date yet. I'm just starting to walk...again. But if I can throw, count on me being a Novice or Rec player.

Wow, who exhumed the corpse of Frowchy??

You can't play Novice or Rec, but you can play Beginner. We'll build a wheelchair ramp through the whole course just for you.

Okay deal...I'll play in beginner (if I can). Wheelchair?? HA...I have a Hoveround. Only the best for this Gimp.

I'm sure that everyone who joins that division will be able to beat me.
Hear that Mr. Harston?? I think you got me beat!

Hey Mr. Grouch, I know the Beginner will be a humiliation so you need to call me. I am so glad to see that you are learning to use that wheel chair.

Just wanted to bump this back up and remind everyone about the tourney May 29th.

I have made a few changes to the original post, so check that out. There will be a free tournament-stamped disc given to the first 65 players to register.

If I could get enough players to commit to playing Pro I would add that division (and add cash), and take some of the pressure off the lower divisions. Last year I had more than enough pro-level players to make a division, but I know some of you will be going to Des Moines this year (you PFC pros better stay here and play my tournament!).

Let me know if there is interest in that.

I now have 4 girls pre-registered for Cherry Fest. If they all show up, there will indeed be a Women's division.

Landed a major sponsor yesterday: Brunk's Sporting Center in Washington has agreed to sponsor the tournament.

Just got permission to add my two temp holes in an area never before used for disc golf. That should add some intrigue to the day's events. :D

Well, I knew I shouldn't have boasted about those temp holes--went out to mark them today and noticed that the bridge leading to the holes is closed! Talked to a construction worker and he said it most likely won't be open in time for the tourney. So I'll probably have to go back to having the hole up by the shelter plus one other. Oh well.

Also, I now have 42 players pre-registered. My gut tells me this will once again hit 100, and that will be the absolute cap. If you didn't pre-register, SHOW UP EARLY! I know several who are planning to be there right when registration opens at 8. That is an excellent idea.

I'll either be there or at the course (gotta build a gangplank to 16's tee  )

Just give me a call first to make sure. Thanks Trent.
