Format
Handicap Singles: Twelve Rounds. Only your best 10 weeks will count. Scoring will be 1 point for each person you beat or tie (based on handicap) plus 1 point for showing up. FunBux payout at end of 12 weeks to all of those who played at least 8 weeks. Free Disc CTP each day, 1 per player. Trophies for top 3 players.
Cost
$5 per round ($4 for PFC members), $1 for optional ace fund. ($1 goes to the PFC maintenance fund)

Saturday mornings (every other week, except between leagues 2 and 3 there is no week off) from October 15th to March 10th

- October 15 – Jubilee State Park (Shot in the dark course layout)
- October 29 – Roanoke (two rounds of 9)
- November 5 – McNaughton
- November 19 – Galesburg
- December 3 – Hopedale (two rounds of 9)
- December 17 – Morton (short tees)
- December 31 – Bradley
- January 14 – Eureka
- January 28 – Marquette Heights (two rounds of 9)
- February 11 – Lacon (two rounds of 9)
- February 25 – Canton
- March 10 – Chillicothe (two rounds of 9)
Handicaps
Handicaps will be based on a player’s calculated “player rating”. I have calculated player ratings for all those who played the singles fall league, and those will be used as the baseline rating for all players. For those who didn’t play fall league, the baseline will be determined as follows:
- Fall League Player rating (at least 2 rounds of data)
- PDGA player rating (if you have one, and it’s been updated this year.)
- Winter or Fall League Player Rating Average from last year (at least 2 rounds of data)
- Average rating based off another local event
- If none of the previous 4 apply, then we will estimate your starting player rating
Your player rating used for each week will be the rated average of your 3 most recent league rounds.
Weekly standings (and points earned for the week) will be determined by how many points you beat your player rating by for that week. An example is listed below:

Travis beat his rating by 27 points, Dustin beat his by 4, and Lucas shot 25 points worse than his rating. Travis would then earn points for beating Dustin and Lucas. Points are earned based on your Handicap score.

Other Winter League Rules:
-No Out of Bounds
-A lost disc will be played from where it was last seen determined by the group, with 1 stroke penalty.
-Bonus points will be earned for playing more than 8 weeks (1 for 9 weeks, 3 for 10 weeks, 6 for 11 weeks, 10 for 12 weeks)
